making $15 million a year. Antworten

Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews says he needs surgery on his nose after getting hit in the face with a line drive during a charity softball game.

Matthews was pitching during Saturday's game when offensive lineman Lucas Patrick hit the ball directly into Matthews' face Nate Orchard Jersey , knocking him to the ground. The Green Bay Press Gazette reports that Matthews got up, covered his face with his glove, then walked to the dugout. He did not return to the game.

Matthews tweeted later that he busted his nose and would have surgery after the swelling subsides. He thanked fans for their well-wishes and expressed gratitude that his injury wasn't more serious.

The Packers are in the middle of their organized team activities. Matthews hasn't participated in OTAs because of a knee injury.

Panthers receiver Torrey Smith has been one of the more prominent and thoughtful voices regarding the anthem issue. He’ll be adding his voice to the latest developments soon.

In response to the President’s Friday morning remarks about player protests, Smith said on Twitter Brian Dawkins Jersey , “I鈥檓 going to act like I didn鈥檛 see this tweet and keep riding my high all weekend…..but Monday….”

Smith’s “high” comes from getting his newest Super Bowl ring, an Eagles piece of jewelry to go along with the Ravens hardware that he won in his second NFL season. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say come Monday. (And he has an open invitation to say it on PFT Live.)

Said the President, among other things, regarding protesting players: “You know Jim Kelly Jersey , they鈥檙e all saying, 鈥極h, it has nothing to do with the flag, it鈥檚 the way we鈥檝e been treated.鈥?In the meantime Dede Westbrook Jersey , they鈥檙e making $15 million a year.”

We’ve previously pointed out the flaws in that comment, while also addressing the bulk of what he had to say.

It will continue to be a topic about which many will have plenty to say, because the topic the NFL wishes would go away simply won’t be — in part because of the NFL’s subpar handling of it.
