NAIROBI LeSean McCoy Rush Jersey , May 10 (Xinhua) -- East Africa Community (EAC) member states are set to meet in June to fast track implementation of the single air transport market, the bloc said on Wednesday.


EAC Senior Transport Economist Eric Ntagengerwa told a regional forum in Nairobi that the 14th EAC Sectoral Council on Transport, Communication and Meteorology will be considering the recommendations by the Heads of Civil Aviation and Airports Authorities to adopt the regional Air Transport Regulations.


"The outcome of the meeting will allow the region to remove all the fears on eligibility criteria Tremaine Edmunds Rush Jersey , market access, fair competition and others that are delaying the adoption of the regional regulations which are required to fully liberalize the EAC domestic aviation industry," Ntagengerwa said during the validation meeting to study on costs and benefits of air transport liberalization in EAC.

The EAC Partner States have committed to fully implement the decision as part of the Common Market Protocol and in line with the ongoing efforts by the African Union Commission (AUC) and the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) to establish a single African air transport market.


Ntagengerwa said that the domestic air transport within the EAC remains un-harmonized until the regional regulations on liberalization of air transport market John Miller Jersey , which were developed by the EAC Secretariat in 2014, are adopted.

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) said it has frozen an interbank account in response to Chinese media reports that it was tricked into signing payments worth 1.3 billion yuan ($194.9 million) Dion Dawkins Jersey , Beijing Times reports.

NEW YORK， July 30 (Xinhua) -- Thousands of visitors flocked to the New York Botanical Garden in recent days for the rare sighting of the blooming of Amorphophallus titanum， also known as "corpse flower，" almost 80 years later since such phenomenon happened in the city.


Crowned as the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world， "corpse flower" gets the unpleasant name for the foul odor it emits when blooming.


The putrefying stench was compared to rotten flesh.


"That's to attract flies and other pollinators， so hopefully it could reproduce，" said Gianna Braca， an educator of New York Botanical Garden.


The corpse flower is a rare tropical specimen originating from the West Sumatra in Indonesia. It blooms only about once in a decade and then only for 24 to 36 hours.


It was also the first time for this particular plant to blossom since the Botanical Garden acquired it in 2007. The previous specimen that produced a flower in the garden was in 1939.
