BUENOS AIRES， June 15 (Xinhua) -- Former football star Diego Maradona on Wednesday called for the complete overhaul of the Argentinean Football Association (AFA).


The 1986 World Cup Champion held a brief meeting with Primo Carvaro， an observer from FIFA， who is in Argentina to study the institutional crisis blighting the AFA.


"We talked about a complete overhaul of the AFA， which would be very good，" said Maradona at a press conference after the meeting.
