1) Blades of Steel: This game was far inferior to its NES counterpart and the only time the graphics are good is after you score a goal. Billy Smith Jersey . 2) WWF Superstars 2: This game is a little bit better than the original, but still not incredibly impressive. Here is a classic match-up between The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan: 3) Golf: The game known simply as “Golf”, which would later become “Mario Golf”. Not much to say other than that this game was awesome. 4) Nintendo Baseball: I remember playing this game frequently and because of how slowly the ball moved, it would take about 90 minutes to complete nine innings. 5) NBA Jam Tournament Edition: The graphics for Game Boy continued to improve, but playing a basketball game between the Celtics and the Lakers with black and white jerseys completely diminished the experience. 6) Madden 96: Just like in the present day, Madden football was the class of the NFL games for the Game Boy. The biggest issue with this game is that they didnt yet have the NFL license, so no team logos or player names. 7) Riddick Bowe Boxing: Punch Out! never came out for Game Boy, so we had Riddick Bowe boxing, which was actually pretty violent. 8) Pit Fighter: In the days before mainstream Mixed Martial Arts, there was Pit Fighter, an uber-violent game that came out in the arcade and was ported to Game Boy. 9) Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball: This was THE baseball game for Game Boy. Had great graphics and gameplay and the most popular spokesperson in baseball. 10) Tecmo Bowl: Nowhere near as good as the NES version, but still fun, especially with the bodies inexplicably flying everywhere. 11) Tennis: In my opinion, the most fun sports game for Game Boy. Mario was the line judge and he made sure the game was played fairly. 12) FIFA: Road to the World Cup: This game was excellent for its time and had great graphics with fast gameplay. 13) Jordan vs Bird: This game was absolutely awful. Just the worst. 14) Bo Jackson Hit and Run: This game contained both a baseball game and football game. How clever! The problem is that the baseball game was good and the football game may have been the worst game ever. 15) NBA Live 96: Every time someone dribbles the ball, the game makes an offensive noise. 16) Nintendo World Cup: They took River City Ransom and made it into a soccer game. I approve! 17) PGA Tour 96: Someone should show this to Brad Faxon. I bet that hed feel incredibly old. 18) Skate or Die – Bad ‘N Rad: This game was a total cult classic among skateboarders and non-skateboarders alike. 19) Super RC Pro Am: If you could get past the horrible braking noise, this game was quite enjoyable. 20) WCW Main Event: Like WCW itself, this game was much inferior to the WWF product. 21) George Foremans KO Boxing: This game has been considered one of the worst fighting games ever, but it was tolerable. Riddick Bowe Boxing was better. Although its an improvement over Foreman for Real, which was hysterically bad (see below). 22) Bases Loaded: This was another really good baseball game, especially considering how early into Game Boys existence it came to be. 23) Itchy & Scratchy in Miniature Golf Madness: This is the most insane golf game ever made. You play as Scratchy and try to avoid violent Itchy characters while golfing to nowhere in particular. 24) Jimmy Connors Tennis: Another great tennis game for Game Boy. The Game Boy could have been much more successful if it only released tennis games. 25) Jeopardy Sports Edition: This game features really hard sports questions with not a lot of time to answer them. Bonus) NHL 96: They tried to make this as good as the Sega Genesis versions, but werent able to capture the magic. Happy Anniversary Game Boy! We appreciate you giving us a way to play video games in our parents cars. Christopher Gibson Jersey . Saltalamacchia has agreed to a $21 million, three-year deal with the Miami Marlins, two people familiar with the negotiations said Tuesday. Denis Potvin Jersey . -- Manager Bob Melvin shuffled the Athletics batting order and got the type of production he was looking for from the top of the lineup. http://www.islandersauthority.com/authentic-johnny-boychuk-islanders-jersey/ . This is the final meeting of the season between these teams.? The Capitals were 5-4 winners in a shootout Oct. PORTLAND, Ore. -- Kevin Durant said the mutual admiration between the Thunder and the Trail Blazers only goes so far. "We respect this team and they respect us, but we dont like them and they dont like us," Durant said after Oklahoma Citys hard-fought 98-95 victory over Portland on Tuesday night. "Point blank." Durant had 36 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunder evened the series against the Blazers 2-2 in their final regular-season meeting this year. Jeremy Lamb had 19 points, including a key 3-pointer with 1:38 left for the Western Conference-leading Thunder, who have won 14 of their last 16 games. Nicolas Batum had 18 points for slumping Portland, which has lost five of seven but still ranks third in the conference behind San Antonio. Robin Lopez finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds for his 19th double-double of the season. LaMarcus Aldridge, who missed a mid-range jumper in the final seconds that could have salvaged the win for Portland, was asked what he thought of Durants comment. "Were not trying to make friends out there," he said. "Were trying to win games." Portland led by as many as 13 points in the first half and held a 55-45 advantage at the break, but the Thunder kept chipping away and the teams went into the fourth quarter tied at 80. Derek Fisher hit a 3-pointer and Lamb made a layup to put the Thunder up 85-84. Portland reclaimed the lead on rookie CJ McCollums running shot, but Durant re-tied it at 91 with a long hook. The teams wrestled for the lead until Lambs 3-pointer gave the Thunder a 96-95 advantage. Damian Lillard missed a 3-pointer for Portland with 45.9 seconds left. Portland got the ball with 12.3 seconds left after officials reviewed an out-of-bounds call, but LaMarcus Aldridges mid-range jumper with 2 seconds left was off and Reggie Jackson hit free throws for the final margin. "We fought hard," Durant said. "Were a resilient team. Weve kept our heads up through adversity and tough times. Im proud of our team." Portland won two of the first three meetings between the two teams, but the Thunder won the last 105-97 in Oklahoma City last month. Durant paced the Thunder with 42 points in that one. Aldridge was a game-time decision because of soreness, but he started and finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Blazers are the onnly team that has started the same five players in all of their games this season. Casey Cizikas Jersey. Aldridge was disappointed with the loss -- and especially his final missed shot. "I couldnt throw a rock in a lake tonight," Aldridge said. Portland jumped out to a quick 18-6 lead, but the Blazers were hurt late in the opening quarter when reserve forward Joel Freelands right knee buckled underneath him and he had to be helped off the court. The extent of the injury was not immediately known, but the Blazers depend on the 6-foot-11 Brit to spell starting centre Lopez. The Thunder closed to 25-21 on Lambs 12-foot jumper early in the second quarter. Portland held them off, but Lambs dunk narrowed it to 34-32 and the Thunder finally pulled ahead 41-39 on Lambs 3-pointer. The Blazers answered with a 16-4 run to take a 55-45 lead into halftime. The Thunder again threatened when Kendrick Perkins jumper got them within 66-63. Serge Ibakas jumper with 2:18 left in the third finally gave Oklahoma City a 76-75 lead, their first of the second half. Jackson led the rally with 13 points after going 0-for-6 in the first half. The teams went into the fourth quarter tied at 80. "It was a physical game, but I like the fact that we kept competing and didnt let anything bother us," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "We just competed, possession by possession. And thats what good teams do." The Blazers were coming off a 2-2 road trip, including 117-110 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. Following the loss to the Thunder, they were headed to Los Angeles for a game against the Clippers on Wednesday night before the All-Star break. The Thunder were coming off a 112-100 victory over the New York Knicks, with Durants 41 points leading the way.
